Bradley Schmidt, a native of Kansas, is a translator of contemporary German prose and poetry. His authors include Berhard Schlink, Ulrike Almut Sandig, and Lutz Seiler. He is also an editor at No-Man’s-Land, an online journal devoted to German literature in translation. He is based in Leipzig, Germany.
