About The Book

As an authority on spiritual matters and the afterlife, Ryuho Okawa invites readers to embrace a spiritual view of life by explaining with clarity and compassion that how we spend our roughly 30,000 days on earth shapes our destiny after death. A life grounded in goodness and gratitude leads to tenfold happiness in the next world, while self-centered living draws the soul toward unhappiness. He also cautions that suicide does not end suffering but only deepens it in the afterlife.
Okawa further teaches that the true purpose of education is to seek the Truth and nurture the soul. Recognizing that all people are spiritually connected—like branches of a great tree of life—forms the foundation for giving love. So he encourages readers to refine their minds and walk the path to enlightenment. The Eternal Truth described in this book will become the foundation for a new value system in the coming age of spiritual awakening.
