Frank McCourt, 78, Author of Angela's Ashes
July 19 — Frank McCourt, the former New York City schoolteacher whose book about his childhood in Ireland won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, passed away today.

Former Vice President to Publish Memoir
June 24 — Former V.P. Dick Cheney will publish his memoir with Threshold Editions. The yet-to-be-titled work is expected in Spring 2011.
