Helen Fields is a former criminal and family law barrister. Today she is a million-copy bestselling author of twelve novels, translated into twenty-five languages. She has been listed for several notable prizes including the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger and the McIlvanney Prize. She also writes as HS Chandler.
