Dear beautiful human,
There are a lot of things I’m not sure of, but this I believe: If this book ended up in your hands, it was meant to find you.
The thing is, you will probably have already absorbed hundreds if not thousands of pieces of information today, but the chances are that few to none of those messages reminded you of how much innate worth you have, exactly as you are in this moment. In a world that emphasizes comparison and endless striving to be more and to have more, I believe this message of worthiness and the power of our inner light is essential for our health and happiness. Because when we fully realize our inherent value, it becomes the foundation for self-love and healing, and empowers us to move forward to the future that is waiting for us.
I’ve spent over twenty years as a health and wellness professional and my favorite part of my career is the one-on-one connection. I’ve had the privilege of hearing thousands of personal stories of incredible challenges, pain, trauma, and hardship. And with those stories the part that stands out again and again is the incredible courage, strength, resilience, and wisdom that it takes not only to survive those difficulties, but to emerge on the other side with a deeper compassion and purpose. It’s so important for us individually and collectively to pause, to remember, and to celebrate everything we’ve overcome and everything that is beautiful and brave about us.
This book is a combination of some of my own journey, and reminders and reflections written just for you. I hope the words on these pages remind you that your inner light and all of the things that make you uniquely you is immense, multi-faceted, and can never be taken from you. I hope it reminds you of your courage, and inspires you to keep being brave. And I hope it leaves you feeling empowered to trust your inner wisdom and to keep pursuing everything you dream of. Because this world needs you and the light you shine on it, more now than ever.
Rooting for you always and deeply grateful that you’re here,
Sara Christiansen
