About The Book

Explore the world's incredible coasts like never before! Dive into rock pools, swim with penguins and otters, and discover how life thrives and survives on the coast in the most remarkable ways.

Embark on a fascinating journey around our world's coasts in this beautifully illustrated book.

Meet the charming animals and plants who consider the world's coastlines their home. Walk down a winding path to where the sand meets the sea. Spot a green sea turtle slowly making her way up the beach to lay a clutch of eggs in the sand. Jump into the water to find sea dragons hiding among kelp forests, and dugongs grazing in seagrass meadows. Then, resurface to meet the many birds who leave unique footprints along the sand.

From puffins and egrets to grassy salt marshes and muddy mangroves, this book takes readers on an incredible journey around the world's coasts where they'll discover the plants and animals who call these places home.
