About The Author

A doctor of French Literature, Bounthavy Suvilay studies contemporary culture through manga, anime and video games. She published several books devoted to independent video games studio. She outlines the medium's history and the journey of its actors, focusing on the different artistic facets necessary to create a work. Her PhD thesis on the reception of Dragon Ball and manga in France was published as "Dragon Ball, une histoire francaise" . She wants to celebrate human ingenuity, the fact that constraints are challenges that promote inventive solutions. Even with little resources, you can create masterpieces.
