About The Author

Diane Put was born in 1962 in Limburg, Belgium. Losing her mom at the age of 4, she sought refuge in drawing everything she saw and felt. In time, she became a kindergarten teacher. Diane’s greatest wish came true when her two daughters, Eveline and Charlotte, were born. She dreamed of one day creating her own picture book. However, in 1998, Diane’s life came to a standstill when her youngest daughter, Charlotte, passed away. After many years of grief, Diane began to wonder if her memories of Charlotte could be channeled into something beautiful. Her creativity and positive energy flowed together . . . resulting in her first picture book! In 2010, Diane met Rik De Wulf. Together, they’ve created over 20 picture books.
