Aiyana Ishmael is a Brooklyn-based writer and currently the style editor at Cosmopolitan. An award-winning journalist from Miami, Florida, and a graduate of the historically Black university Florida A&M, she has bylines in The Wall Street Journal, Essence, The Cut, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, and Glamour. She is a 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30: Media honoree, and has been featured on CBS, NPR, Slate, and Office. Passing Game is her debut romance novella.
