Siyang Lim is a picture book author and illustrator based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in China, she moved to the United States at the age of sixteen. Her works draw inspiration from moments of daily life and childhood memories. She enjoys exploring different methods and mediums to bring her visions to life, and she loves creating whimsical and playful creatures from imagination, as well as telling emotional and personal stories that connect all of us. The Red Scarf is her debut picture book.
