New York, NY, June 26, 2026—Simon & Schuster announced today that it will publish a new memoir by Chloe Cherry, the on-the-rise it girl actress who made her television debut as ‘Faye’ in HBO’s Emmy-winning cultural phenomenon, Euphoria. Somewhere Dark and Hot is a defiant and unapologetic memoir that asks, “How far would you go to start over?” It publishes on February 23, 2027.

A few months after filming her final porn scene in a bunny mask, the second season of Euphoria premiered, and Chloe Cherry's life changed forever. Five years earlier, at eighteen, she’d run away from an emotionally abusive home in suburban Pennsylvania, propelling herself into the adult entertainment industry. It was 2016, a time when PornHub was booming while American Apparel was going bankrupt. What followed was a blur: porn sets and model houses, eating disorders and insomnia, OnlyFans and unemployment, psychotic episodes and drug abuse.

Then came Euphoria, and the vertigo of a new kind of fame. Cast as the unforgettable Faye, Chloe went from adult-industry outsider to breakout icon, challenging assumptions about who gets to cross over into Hollywood. In Somewhere Dark and Hot, Chloe tells the story of how she survived it all and why she regrets none of it. Shocking, funny, and nakedly matter-of-fact, she dismantles the myths we tell about “good girls” and “bad choices.”  In the tradition of Julia Fox's Down the Drain and Jennette McCurdy's I'm Glad My Mom Died, Somewhere Dark and Hot is a raw and fearless memoir about girlhood, survival, desire, performance, and the power of owning your story.

Somewhere Dark and Hot is the rare memoir that is both intensely personal and culturally significant, capturing the realities of American girlhood, performance, fame, sex, and self-invention,” adds Stuart Roberts, Vice President, Executive Editor and Special Projects at Simon & Schuster. “From the moment I read it, I knew readers wouldn’t be able to look away. Like Chloe herself, the book is disarmingly honest, wildly funny, and full of hard-earned truths.” Roberts acquired World English, audio with the author narrating, and first serial rights from Joe Veltre of The Gersh Agency.

Chloe Cherry is an actor and model who made her television debut in HBO’s Emmy-winning cultural phenomenon, Euphoria as ‘Faye.’ Chloe’s recent credits include the Shudder exclusive Find Your Friends opposite Bella Thorne, Happy Madison’s comedy Roommates, the Bo Burnham produced The Napa Boys, and the Miranda Kahn-helmed short film Fame and Other Four Letter Words alongside Francesca Scorsese. Beyond acting, Chloe has made her mark in fashion, walking runways at London and Paris fashion week shows and starring in major campaigns from Versace to MAC Cosmetics. Prior to her Hollywood breakout, Chloe acted in the adult-film industry, appearing in productions by Brazzers, Spiegler Girls, and Deeper, while also being one of the first adult film stars to join OnlyFans. Chloe was born in Pennsylvania and currently resides in Los Angeles. Somewhere Dark and Hot is her first book.
