Candida Royalle

Candida Royalle (1950–2015) was a sex educator and an acclaimed director of women-friendly erotic films for her own company, Femme Productions. A much sought after speaker on female sexuality, Candida lectured at professional conferences including the American Psychiatric Association; the Smithsonian Institution; the World Congress of Sexology; and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. She also addressed several sexuality conferences and universities including Princeton, Columbia, Wellesley College, and New York University and was featured in The New York Times and in magazines such as Time, Glamour, and Marie Claire.
