Gladys McGarey

Recognized as a pioneer of the allopathic and holistic medical movements, Dr. Gladys McGarey was a founding diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine. She was the cofounder and past president of the American Holistic Medical Association (now called the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine), as well as the cofounder of the Academy of Parapsychology and Medicine. Dr. Gladys lived and worked in Scottsdale, Arizona, where for many years she shared a medical practice with her daughter, had a life coaching practice, and lived long past a hundred years.
