Kathryn Guarini is a technology executive, corporate board director, educator, and PhD scientist. With more than 25 years in technology, she served as the global Chief Information Officer at IBM, Chief Operating Officer of IBM Research, and Vice President of Product Management for IBM Systems, leading digital transformation, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure programs. Today she sits on the boards of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and the New York Hall of Science, teaches innovation and crisis management at Yale University and Cornell Tech, and writes the Mother of Invention blog. She holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford and is an inventor on more than 65 patents.
