Her experience spans diverse educational settings, from low-income urban schools to affluent districts, giving her firsthand insight into the systemic inequalities that shape students’ educational opportunities. Passionate about advocating for equity in education, Maureen is committed to supporting marginalized students and challenging the structures that reinforce racial and socioeconomic disparities.

In her spare time, she enjoys de-stressing with family and friends, swimming, and practicing yoga.
