R.N. Singh

R. N. Singh is a distinguished senior public-sector Administrator and Leader, specialising in Strategic Management, Railway Management (operations, asset maintenance, execution of major infrastructure projects), Digital Governance, Technological Innovations and Leadership practice, with about 38 years of experience including national-level policy making, apex level management and Infrastructure engineering. 

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Indian School of Business and National Law School of India University, he has served with distinction in several senior leadership and management roles within Indian Railways, including as Secretary of the Railway Board, Managing Director of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited, Divisional Railway Manager in Delhi and General Manager, before becoming CEO of Southern Railway, one of India’s largest zonal railway systems.
